That attorney fees are and can be ridiculously high in many instances is not in doubt. What is in doubt however, is what you can do to avoid and or minimize these high fees you will or might have to pay when the time comes. Because as it has previously been said elsewhere, at some point in their lifetime, the vast majority of Americans or people living in America will likely need some sort of legal representation or advice or another. Sadly, for the majority of these people, this added burden of having to pay exorbitant lawyer fees adds to their already overstretched expenses.
Let’s give you some mind numbing statistics as to the state of the legal industry in America.
And the stats can go on and on. While no doubt there may be several suggestions that can be proffered as to how one can avoid or altogether reduce getting to pay these often high and exorbitant attorney fees, this article is really interested in one particular method. Now before we touch base with the particular method or tactic that you can use to reduce your legal fees, let me ask you this; if you had to buy a high ticket item, say a car, would you rather pay one very large lump sum of money, or would you rather pay for that same item, in small little bits over time, and more so when you would be paying the exact same amount as the total cost price, and not charged an incredible interest fee because of the time spread as it usually happens when you are given credit. I would personally chose the small payments spread over time, which I guess is exactly why most western economies are largely driven by a “credit economy,” which is obviously based off this extended small bits of payments, albeit with interest fees. So what if you can apply this same model to help reduce the legal fees you would otherwise have paid, if and possibly when the time comes? And as you will very probably well know, this is obviously what you already do with regards the obviously very high medical bills you would ordinarily have paid whenever you have a major event at the hospital, such as hospitalization or surgery. I’m sure by now you can deduce what this tactic is that I am alluding to that will help reduce your legal fees. Yup, I am referring to “lawyer payment plans.” A situation where you get to pay a small monthly fee to a law firm in the form of a premium of sorts, and in exchange whenever you need legal advice or representation, they will be obliged to come to your aid at no cost, or almost no cost to you. If you ask me, for such a highly litigious society such as America, it is such a wonder why many more people do not subscribe to these plans. Because when you put the cost of subscribing to any of these plans, side by side any legal fee you would get to pay, if you did so out of pocket, almost always the monthly plan option far outweighs and costs less, than the out of pocket option. The good thing about these lawyer payment plan, or legal aid plan, or prepaid legal service plan, whichever term you chose to call it, is that depending on the specific plan you chose at the time of signing up, for the most part they will come to your aid no matter the situation, provided it is covered in the option you signed up for, so whether it is a criminal or civil case against you. Or perhaps it relates to an unfair dismissal at your job, and more. In most cases, these legal plans often have one type for individuals that will often cover the types of situations mentioned above, and they will also often have specific plans designed for businesses, whereby situations such as when a breach of contract happens for example, you are sure to have a law firm of specialist business attorneys to represent you in the matter, and more so knowing that your legal feels, or most of it has already been paid for. So do yourself a favor, and find a good prepaid legal service and sign up to you for your own good.
